All excited!
Because Cheeky surprised me on Thursday with a simple question and we're about to embark on an adventure that I've always wanted to do! That means it's going to be a real busy week ahead (and no 1-monthsary celebration for us as planned) and no more anyhow spending money on shopping for me! But I'm one step closer to n-e-m-o!!!

Joke of the day...
Cheeky ar cheeky... I don't know what to say...
And so I went to dig up my past marathon timings. Gosh, 6 years ago, I actually conquered it at 4:50:06!!! Oh yes, those were the days when I was still a 20-year-old, probably spending more time exercising than sleeping!
Ok, there you go, my marathon records from 2004-2007:
Well, obviously I wasn't seriously running in 2007. And obviously you know what I use the internet for at work. LOL

Shopping freak?
Headed down to Orchard to get cheeky's m.blanc embossed. The cap could only take 12 characters, so it's going to say 'cheeky cheek'! haha, joking of course. Gosh, the last time we headed down orchard to shop was more than a month ago, and yes, everywhere's having sale! Duh, it's GSS! Got myself 10 pieces of undies from la senza, woohoo, that's going to last me a long long time. And even though I haven't been out in the streets for retail therapy, I've bought myself at least 10 pieces of tops/dresses/skirts over the past month from here and there and I shall exercise discipline to not buy anymore things for myself till our bkk trip!
Ice cream with waffles, this combi can't go wrong, because I always succumb to temptation of buying online coupons, and had to find a time to use them. Whatever happened to my diet plan??

OMG I married a clown!
Who finds new tricks to make me giggle myself to sleep almost every night. That silly boy! Now if you see more crow's feet on me you'll know why.
Booked our air tickets and hotel for BKK in Aug. Yeah, who ask me stay in Sg too long, backside itchy. It's going to be my virgin flight on a budget airline, well, after adding in insurance, additional charges to choose seats and convenience fees etc, it's not so budget anymore! Oh well, just hope this scootie doesn't delay like their maiden voyage yesterday. Just borrowed a Europe travel guide from the library to decide on which countries to go, can't wait for NATAS fair to book our honeymoon!! I think I'm more excited about our honeymoon than the wedding itself. LOL
It's almost a month after our ROM and I have yet to start my job search. Procrastination to the max! I guess there can never be a best job in this world, doing something that you really love and pays you well. For me, I admit, the problem lies with knowing what I really want to do. Perhaps, I should do some soul-searching before job searching...

42.195 again.
Sundown Marathon, finally off my wish list.
5:36:04. Quite pleased with my timing, though I don't think it was my PB, but considering I haven't been running like how I used to, and managed to brave through the rain with my lousy knees that was on the verge of giving way even before the half way mark, it's quite a good end to my marathons.
The first 15km or so was enjoyable, running through the city, mbs with angmohs cheering the runners on with a mug of beer, marina barrage etc. Then my poor knees started to ache and my tummy too, I thought I emptied my poos before the run but apparently not. Then came my most hated ECP, it was a battle between mind and body, or rather legs. Around the halfway mark, it started to rain! Well, I was kind of thankful it was a distraction for the pain in my knees and the emerging poo as I was busy trying to keep my iphone dry. When I finally crossed the finishing line, collected my finisher's tee, I thought to myself: why the hell did I put myself through more than 5 and a half hours of pain just for this shirt, next time I'll just spend the money to buy myself some dry-fits!
Ok, enough said, I promised cheeky I'll take good care of my body to pop some monsters, so no more marathons :)
Took half day off on Monday to sign our lease and almost emptied my pathetic CPF. HDB rocks, take 5% of down payment on the spot and only refund the $2k booking fees one month later. Alright, next step will be taking the keys to our love nest! :)
Laksa for dinner, fish-watching at Honeymoon dessert and MIB3 followed.
Now that's my cheeky boy when I said "wait don't eat first, I take photo first!"

Hubby, I want a holiday!
I want to take a plane away from this island and enjoy some peacefulness with just the two of us, but I can't think of a place to go. I want to go Europe, US, exotic countries, or even Japan and Korea is fine, but we're saving up our leaves and money for our honeymoon next year, and going to a nearby island is not worth the money, even though it may be just a few hundred bucks. So, I'm still stucked here in misery.
So I'm hoping to win the Changi Millionaire, just like how I always hope to strike TOTO. Obese hope!
Ok, back to reality. Time to start hunting for greener grass.

Life as Mrs Chong
Is great so far!
No matter what shit work gives me, I always look forward to the seeing my cheeky boy at the end of the day, give him a big hug and a peck on those cheeks. :)
Went for my first gown fitting session last week. Man, the gowns are at least 2kg in weight and it was a challenge finding the hole to put yourself inside when you're all naked except for the big cancan. Tiring, but nevertheless a fun experience. Tried at least 10 gowns, most are beautiful, elegant, sexy, sweet, exaggerated, hot, too spoilt for choice. Can't wait for the next fitting session to see myself in different looks.
Now for more photos of that day, enjoy :) The rest can be viewed at http://photobucket.com/AndrewLeqi
