It's been so long..

Since I've been back on water, and it's been even longer since I rowed a RJ boat. Reminiscing the good old days of a 18-year-old jc student, certainly one of my most memorable phases of life where I picked up a sport seriously, trained insanely and gave my heart and soul to canoeing.
And so the inaugural gryphon sports recall last Saturday brought me back to the water and the new rj campus again. Lovely and huge new campus with great toilets and complete gym! If only I'm still that canoeist now I'd have buried muself there! But I must say the old container classrooms, old and rusty weights room (it's not even called a gym I realise) brings back beautiful memories. It was a simple get-together event with some sporting actions and food, but feels good to be back and knowing we can still blend in with the 18-year-olds!

Weekend Withdrawal Syndrome

Started off with perfect rainy Saturday catching up on sleep, gym on Sunday morning which leaves me aching now, followed by Hi-Tea Buffet with durian desserts!

Went down to SMC to make our second deposit for our banquet, woohoo, first round of 12k to maximize our cashback! Now believe me when I say we're broke!

Now the week starts again and I'm so looking forward to our bkk trip in 3 weeks time, till then, I ban myself from shopping!!! But freak, exhibition the very weekend before I fly off! Total mood spoiler!

Koped that from fb, perfect picture of my day yesterday, less the start and end timings. Without a doubt, I'm type A, munching food, making coffee/tea, listening to 933, planning my bkk trip, searching for job, and puzzled at why there is only 1 show of painted skin on both sat and sun. hmmmm...

Happy day today because the cat is away (or rather dog) and finally had a rather early night's sleep last night after our weekly run and getting caught in the sudden downpour! That cheeky ko-ed at 10pm without even brushing his teeth!
Photoshoot date booked, now the search for venue begins, and as usual, I have some exotic and not feasible ideas. Hmmmm...

Let the games begin

Because I have decided enough is enough. I've been munching this pathetic grass for almost 2 years and it's getting dry. No doubt every grass has it's own flavours and seasons, but do let me revisit the buffet spread again, because it's either now or I've to chew on for another 2 years. Hate the thought of coming to office everyday and face that useless pathetic dog!
Oh well, wish me luck!
Highlight of the week: Food!!!

Call me suaku but that's my first dining experience at Sun with Moon for a early 2-month wedding anniversary dinner and because my coupons are expiring soon (yes I'm such a sucker at buying coupons). But I must say their sashimi and cheesecake are to die for! Mmmmmm....

New Friend Found

While walking around Vivo on Monday before Spiderman, I wondered into lasenza because the word "sale" was shouting too loud. Damage: 3 bras for $40. And yes, this is my first bras from lasenza cos I always thought they were overpriced and overpaded. To my surprise, those on sale were mostly non-paded and they are so comfy and fit nicely, not to mention, cheap cheap!! Now I'm tempted to get 3 more since there's so many designs. Hmm.. pretty lingerie really makes one happy, or rather, makes two happy :)
Spidey was nice, cuter than the previous one :) Caught it after the crazy first-week overpriced 12 bucks per tix. I was happily munching popcorns before the movie started when I smelled something salty and sour, smells like mayo, but when I looked around to see if anyone smuggled food in, there was only popcorns and to my horror, I saw, just under my right shoulder, somebody's foot in peektoe shoes sloted in between the seats! Total disgust! luckily the armrest was movable so I lifted it up so that the stupid indian got nowhere to slot her smelly foot! Such inconsiderate people!

Peach Garden lunch on Monday (fat and succulent chicken feet and dumplings), Macs breakfast on Tuesday (can't remember when was the last time I had it, at least a year ago I think, didn't even know they use fresh milk now instead of creamer), Taste Paradise lunch on Wednesday (super nice codfish and their mango sago chilled with dry ice!)
So fatty me and cheeky hubs decided to make Wednesday our workout day. And so we kicked off with a 5km run yesterday. That cheeky boy, ask him to start running, he takes out a packet of seaweed from his pocket and started munching!
