It has been such a hectic and eventful week, and many more to come..
Took leave on Tuesday to go back to NTU to get our solemnized to sign the consent form and took the chance to visit those in NTU. Celebrated my cheeky boy's birthday over a few days with food, company and my 'surprise' gift for him. It was fated I'm suppose to go get it myself cos it was out of stock when he finally chose that design and surprisingly the stocks were back 2 days later.
Settled quite a lot more things over the past few days.
- Solemnizer confirmed and signed.
- Venue booked and paid deposit
- Wedding bands engraved and collected
- ROM package signed and paid deposit. Now left with choosing of gown and suit, speaking of which I can't decide what type of dress to get. tube? toga? halter?
- Bridal shop for photoshoot and actual day signed and paid deposit. Initially planned to do more research but it happened we were at VIvo on saturday and there was a bridal fair going on and we sat down and bargained to get a very good deal with this bridal shop, just hope everything goes smoothly because it seems like everybody hates their bridal shops.
- Met up with our geomancer to get some dates for our banquet. I know I don't really fancy all these superstitions and traditions but oh well.. apparently, by looking at my bazi, I'm suppose to get married after 30 years old because I'm a very fierce tiger and strong-headed. Well, quite true, I was indeed very stubborn, but as a grow older, I start to realize the world does not revolve around me, and in a relationship, disagreements are inevitable, especially over big decisions. Sometimes I really want to punch him in the nose and bite those chubby cheeks, but I know everything that I do, every decision that I make now is not about me, it's about us.

Because it was such a tiring and horrible day at work, dearie brought me to drink some chocs to brighten up my day. Having you around really makes me feel like the luckiest girl in this world. =)

Oops I did it again...

Bought 3 pairs of heels in the span on 1 week. Total damage: slightly more than 100 bucks. I shall not succumb to anymore shoe temptations for the next 6 months unless absolutely necessary or an offer too good to be missed..

1 month minus 1 day to our ROM. It's been a busy couple of weeks trying to decide the most basic details.
Checklist as of now:
- date: confirmed
- venue: decided (will make the confirmation and pay deposit soon)
- wedding band: bought (& super duper love them)
- photographer: decided

What's next:
- JP: top-most urgent!!
- gown, suit & accessories
- make-up artiste
- shoes (shoe-shopping permission granted!!)
- guest list
- invites & favours: necessary?

and I am staring on intensive exercise and skincare regime in a desperate attempt to lose 3kg and get my pimples healed.
